Webinar: "Förderung von Open Access in den Rechtswissenschaften" (22 October 2024)
On 22 October 2024, the webinar “Förderung von Open Access in den Rechtswissenschaften” will take place, organised by ZHB Luzern in collaboration with the PLATO project, as part of the International Open Access Week 2024.
Although open access is on the rise in many disciplines, it is still little widespread in the legal field. The national character of the subject, the strong involvement of the private sector as the main consumer of legal literature and the market dominance of a few publishers pose particular challenges. How can open access in this area be promoted in a targeted manner? And what role can the Diamond Open Access model play in this?
Experts from research and research funding will discuss the possibilities of promoting Open Access in the legal sciences.
