Citizen Science and Participatory Science

Citizen Science entails the participation of the public in scientific research. Interested parties can be involved in the conception and implementation of research projects in different ways. Citizen Science is an important element of Open Science. Citizens are given access to research and allowed to participate in order to ensure high-quality research.

Support for Citizen Science projects

Citizen Science Zurich promotes, coordinates and supports Citizen Science projects at the University of Zurich and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich. They also offer training to ensure a successful cooperation between citizens and researchers.
