Data Protection Day 2026
After last year's successful installment, the Data Stewards at UZH again invite all researchers, students and interested staff of UZH working or consulting on personal and sensitive research data to come together, learn and discuss issues of data protection and how to handle personal and sensitive data in research.
UZH's Data Protection Day 2026 will take place on Monday 22 June at KOL (UZH City Campus).
Program
The morning session consists of input lectures on issues related to data protection. The lectures take place on-site in KOL with an online stream on Zoom.
The afternoon session provides dedicated hands-on sessions on data anonymisation, using sdcMicro for anonymization, secure data storage and data classification, and handling MRI data. Additionally, experts are at hand to ask questions and discuss issues in one's own research related to the handling of personal data.
Language of the event is English.
