All calls closed for the program Open Science II
As swissuniversities states on its website, all calls for proposals for the Open Science II program are now closed. This means that no further project applications can be submitted. The Open Science delegation will decide on the applications submitted by January 31, 2026, at its meeting in March.
The federal government's federal budget cuts also had an impact on the project-related funds that swissuniversities was able to allocate to the Open Science II program. As a result, all projects will only be funded for one year and must be completed by January 2027 at the latest.
After the action lines for "Open Access" and "Open Research Data" the action lines "Communication & Awareness Raising" and "Participation in relevant international initiatives" were still open. These have now also been closed earlier than planned.
