UZH Projects Receive Funding for Open Science
Starting in July 2025 and January 2026, 20 projects led by or with involvement by members of UZH will receive funding from swissuniversities as part of their program "Open Science II".
Projects in the action line "ORD Explore" aim to improve the handling of research data within specific research communities. The successfull applications at UZH came from the fields of education, computer science, ethnology, computational linguistics, biomedicine, microbiology, digital humanities, history, linguistics, art history, and film studies.
In the area of open access, UZH is supporting a project in the field of law, the establishment of a national Diamond Open Access consortium, and a project that aims to promote the interoperability and standardization of repositories at the national level.
In addition, two projects in the area of communication and awareness raising are also being supported.
Each project is set to last for one year.
