Data Protection Day 2026

The Data Protection Day 2026 takes place on Monday, 22 June 2026.

Program 22 June 2026

The morning session consists of input lectures on issues related to data protection. The lectures take place on-site in KOL with an online stream on Zoom. 

The afternoon session provides dedicated hands-on sessions on data anonymisation, using sdcMicro for anonymization, secure data storage and data classification, and handling MRI data. Additionally, experts are at hand to ask questions and discuss issues in one's own research related to the handling of personal data.

Language of the event is English.

Registration

Registration starts on 1 February 2026. You can participate in the morning sessions either remotely via Zoom or locally on-site.

Costs: Participation is free of charge. For people participating on-site, coffee and lunch will be provided.

Deadline for Registration: 14 June for the on-site sessions.
Registration for online participation is possible up to the event itself.

Attention: Registration for the workshops in the afternoon are currently only possible on the waiting list. We will free spaces with every cancellation and will contact newly registered participants with information about the workshops right after.
