Reproducibility

Open Science is better science

Scientific results must be transparent so that they can be checked and validated. In addition to access to scientific knowledge and research data, the replicability and reproducibility of research results is one of the main goals of Open Science. A transparent scientific methodology is central to conducting reliable research.  The partial lack of reproducibility of empirically obtained data is discussed intensively in the scientific community. The Center for Reproducible Science (CRS) competence center therefore aims to increase the reproducibility of research results at the University of Zurich by contributing to the required methodological research, and further develop the teaching of the required knowledge and skills.

Support for replication studies and training
The Center for Reproducible Science supports researchers in reproducibility studies in various empirical research fields. It also offers courses and methodological training in the field of reproducible science.
