Data Protection Week

Do you collect or analyze personal and/or sensitive data in your research project? Would you like to know how you should handle such data? How it should be collected and stored securely?

The Data Stewards together with the Open Science Services are organizing the first Data Protection Week at UZH from Wednesday 22 – Friday 24 January 2025. In input lectures, interactive workshops and in exchange with experts, participants will learn more about

• legal and ethical aspects of handling personal data
• storing data securely on your own laptop
• anonymization
• writing about personal data in the data management plan (DMP)
• sharing data with others (in collaborative projects)

The input lectures will be offered in a hybrid format, interactive workshops in person on-site. All events will take place in English.
